RAHIMYAR KHAN: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has claimed that Southern Punjab has left behind Central Punjab in terms of progress.
Addressing a gathering on Saturday, he remarked that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan should make up with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif if he found the younger brother more dangerous.
Taking a dig at those demanding a separate province of south Punjab, he said the very same people were to blame for turning the area into a virtual desert.
He said that in 2013, power suspended once was not restored, but now the suspended power is restored.
He said that the journey of progress will not stop, no matter what their rivals say. APP/AFP
