KANDHKOT: While foiling a bid to explode railway track in Kandhkot, Police and Law enforcement agencies have arrested five alleged terrorists of banned outfit in a joint operation and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition.
As per details, Police and Law enforcement agencies conducted raid on tip-off intelligence here at today in Kandhkot and detained five terrorists of banned Baluchistan Republican Army, planting explosive material on railway track.
DIG Larkana Abdullah Sheikh said that all the five terrorists had association with banned outfit Baluch Republican Army and they were identified as Muhammad Khan Gajani, Sadiq Bugti, Mama Buhadir, Dil Murad and Fatah Muhammad.
DIG Larkana further stated that huge cache of arms were also recovered from their possession which includes 12 kg explosive material, three hand grenades, two time bombs, two pistols, three Kalashnikovs, two detonators and large number of bullets.
He also revealed that the arrested accused also got training of sabotaging in Afghanistan.
SSP Kashmore Omer Tufail said that the arrested accused confessed during initial investigation to explode railway tracks and gas pipelines in 18 bomb blasts near border areas of Baluchistan and Sindh.
