Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that border fencing with Afghanistan would be completed in next one to two months.
Addressing a ceremony in Multan, he said that Pakistan supports sustainable peace in Afghanistan and all efforts are being made for this purpose.
The Foreign Minister said the United States and its allies are going to withdraw forces from Afghanistan by September and if peace is not maintained there, it could lead towards unrest which would not only affect Pakistan, but also the region.
He warned that some elements are playing role of a spoiler, but Pakistan would continue efforts for peace in the region.
About internal issues, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said special quota would be announced for South Punjab which would provide opportunity to local youth to show their potential and skills.
