In Afghanistan, ten Taliban militants including a key commander Mullah Ghousuding have been killed during fighting in Karakh district of Herat province.
The provincial police chief Aminullah Omarkhil said today that nine security personnel have also been killed.
Meanwhile, two people have been killed in a bomb blast by militants in a mosque in Ghazni province.
