UN says 25% increase in Afghan children killed in 2016

The United Nations says the number of children killed in Afghanistan's conflict rose by 25 percent last year.

United Nations Mission in Afghanistan in a report released on Monday attributed this increase to left-over or discarded munitions.

According to report, 923 children were killed in Afghanistan in 2016.
