LAHORE – A Shaheen Air International flight NL-892, which landed at Guanghzou airport earlier today, on Monday took off carrying Pakistani 214 passengers from China’s Guangzhou airport and would reach Lahore late at night 6pm.

Sources said that over 200 Pakistanis stranded at China’s Guangzhou airport are expected to finally return home tonight at 6pm. The stranded passengers have been issued boarding passes and have gotten clearance from immigration officials.

Some hour before, A Shaheen Air flight reached at Guangzhou airport to bring back stranded Pakistanis in China.

Earlier, about 324 passengers had to reach Pakistan through a Shaheen Air flight on July 29 but they were left stranded after the flight was delayed due to dispute with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

On Sunday, Shaheen Air International decided to send its own aircraft for the rescue mission following reports that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was sending one of its airplanes to bring back the stranded countrymen.
