RAWALPINDI – Security forces killed five terrorists in an intelligencebased operation (IBO) in Jhallar Algad area of North Waziristan, themilitary’s media wing said on Monday.
ISPR in a statement said that intense fire exchange took place betweensecurity forces and terrorists during the operation, adding that troopseffectively engaged the terrorists’ location.
Resultantly, five terrorists got killed. The security forces recoveredweapon and ammunition from the killed terrorists.
During the operation, a 25-year-old Sepoy Nasir Khan embraced martyrdom.

The killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activitiesagainst security forces and killing of innocent citizens. ISPR saidsanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any otherterrorists found in the area.
