LAHORE – Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Firdous AshiqAwan has predicted pthat PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz is on bail, butshe is about to go to jail.

In a statement on the corona situation on Saturday, she said thatCoronavirus neither sees a beautiful face like Rana Sanaullah nor the bodyof a mentally-retarded person.

The SACM said that the post-mortem of political bodies would be conductedat Minar-e-Pakistan. “The entire PDM seemingly at the highest level ofignorance which is not realizing the seriousness of the pandemic.”

Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the Covid-19 virus is spreading rapidly andthe death rate has also increased.

“Lahore has reported to have maximum number of corona patients which ismore than 60,000. As many as 540 confirmed corona cases have been surfacedwhile 22 people died during the last 24 hours in Punjab. The number ofactive corona patients in Punjab has reached 19,941 and the death toll hastouched the number of 3,137, she added. Under such circumstances, holdingpublic gatherings can result in the further spread of this outbreak,” shewarned.
