However, US President Donald Trump has denied the report that his countryis weighing sending more than 12,000 troops to the Middle East in the faceof a perceived threat from Iran.
In a tweet on Friday, he said the story that we are sending troops to SaudiArabia is false and fake.
The US based Wall Street Journal had reported that the possible deploymentwould include “dozens” more ships and double the number of troops in theregion.
