ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and China decide to launch yet another jointinitiative on countering the drugs front.
Pakistan and China have agreed to make joint efforts for turning the regionfree from the menace of drugs.
The promise was made at a meeting between Minister of State for NarcoticsControl, Shehryar Khan Afridi and Deputy Chief of Mission at ChineseEmbassy, Pang Chunxue in Islamabad on Friday.
Shehryar Afridi said Pakistan has fortified its borders to choke downnarcotics trade.
He said Pakistan has developed the world’s biggest databank on criminalsinvolved in drugs and money laundering.
Pang Chunxue said China and Pakistan have good cooperation inanti-narcotics operations.
