ISLAMABAD – Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi has expressed hisconfidence over operational preparedness of Pakistan Navy to cope with allsecurity challenges.
He was addressing Command and Staff Conference of Pakistan Navy inIslamabad on Thursday.
The Naval Chief reiterated to maintain robust security posture throughregional maritime security patrols by Pakistan Navy in the Indian Oceanregion for protection of national and international shipping against thethreats of maritime terrorism, piracy, narco-arms smuggling and humantrafficking.
He also re-affirmed Pakistan Navy’s commitment to make every effort toprotect our environment especially in maritime domain and for sustainableuse of oceans while endeavoring to protect its precious resources for ourfuture generations.
