Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam and opening batter Fakhar Zamanhave expressed their thoughts about the match against New Zealand.
In a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board, Babar Azam and FakharZaman discussed their excellent partnership in the match. Babar Azam saidthat he had the belief that if Fakhar stayed on the crease, they wouldachieve their target, as whenever Fakhar plays such innings, Pakistan wins90% of the matches.
They also mentioned that when Babar came in for batting, Fakhar told himthat the pitch is good for batting, and they should build a partnership.They initially had no concerns about rain since the sky was clear, butsuddenly clouds appeared, and they had to make a plan on how to approachbatting. However, Fakhar had already started the work before Babar arrived.
In the video, Fakhar Zaman asked Babar Azam what he was saying after everyboundary on the field. Babar replied that he was telling Fakhar that afterhitting one six h3 should not try another rather wait for the loose ball tohit big after hitting a boundary.
