Ottawa: The Canadian government has extended a warm welcome to hundreds ofthousands of non-residents from around the world, offering them permanentresidency facilities in the country.

According to details, the Canadian government has made the decision tomaintain its target of increasing the number of newcomers to the countryfor the next three years. As per reports from a foreign news agency, theMinister of Immigration, Mark Miller, presented new goals in theParliament, stating that until the year 2026, up to 500,000 newcomers willbe able to obtain permanent residency in the country.

Mark Miller, the Minister for Immigration in Canada, announced the futureimmigration plan, revealing that an increase in the number of newcomerswill be implemented for the next three years. However, some changes areexpected in their education and skills.

Mark Miller mentioned that Canada will welcome 500,000 newcomers by 2026.The government aims to provide permanent residency to 465,000 individualsin 2023, 485,000 in 2024, and intends to reach 500,000 individuals by 2025.It’s worth noting that in 2015, the immigration target was less than threehundred thousand.

The Minister of Immigration in Canada, Mark Miller, also acknowledged thatthere have been some shortcomings in Canada’s immigration system in recentyears, and they plan to improve it. On the other hand, the currentgovernment is facing criticism, as the increasing number of newcomers isimpacting the provision of residency and healthcare services.
