ISLAMABAD – Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri says usingreligion card for politics is unproductive.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said people werebrought together to participate in protest march of JUI-F on the basis ofbaseless propaganda.
He said talks of recognizing Israel are false and unfounded and are beingused as part of propaganda campaign against the government.
Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said Prime Minister Imran Khan is determined totransform Pakistan into an Islamic welfare country on the pattern of stateof Madina.
He said Eid Milad ul Nabi celebrations will be held with religious zeal andin a befitting manner.
The Minister said government is making efforts to resolve the situationpeacefully to end the protest march.
He said the government strongly believes in protection and rights ofminorities and opening of Kartarpur Corridor is a testament to the fact.
He said we have to give a positive message to the world that we are apeaceful nation.
Pir Noor ul Haq Qadri urged the march organizers to end their protest tosave the people from trouble.
