The sanctions the U.S. had reimposed on Iran became effective from today. Trump administration has reinstated all sanctions removed under the 2015 nuclear deal, targeting both Iran and states that trade with it.
Meanwhile, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in his televised speech said that Tehran will proudly bypass sanctions imposed by the United States targeting the country’s oil and financial sectors because it is against international regulations.
On the other hand, China’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman says China’s lawful trade cooperation with Iran should be respected. She regretted reimposition of trade sanctions against Iran by the United States.
