ISLAMABAD – Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General MajorGeneral Asif Ghafoor has responded over the Kashmir martyrs day.
He on Tuesday paid tribute to the Kashmiri martyrs of 6 November, 1947 andtill date on Kashmir Martyrs Day.
In a tweet , he said their great sacrifices shall accrue results.
“Tribute to Kashmiri martyrs of 6 Nov 1947 & till date on Kashmir MartyrsDay. Their great sacrifices shall accrue result IA. Continued atrocities byIndian Occupation forces can never suppress just political struggle fortheir legitimate right of self determination,” he said.

During the first week of November, 1947, hundreds of thousands of Kashmiriswere killed by Maharaja Hari Singh’s forces who were supported by theIndian Army and other religious extremists in Jammu. The Kashmiris weremigrating to the newly independent country of Pakistan at the time.
Youm-e-Shuhada Jammu is observed on November 6 by Kashmiris on both sidesof the Line of Control (LoC) and across the world.
