Stunning revelations made in Nawaz Sharif new medical report

A fresh medical report of former premier Nawaz Sharif, who is scheduled toreturn to Pakistan on October 21, was submitted to the Lahore High Court(LHC).

Nawaz had left for London in 2019 on medical grounds. The LHC had allowedthe ex-premier to travel abroad initially for a period of four weeks,extendable on the basis of medical reports.

The report said that the ex-premier Nawaz Sharif had “some residual anginalsymptoms” which would require “frequent follow-up investigations” in Londonand Pakistan.

The report was signed by Professor Carlo Di Mario, a consultantcardiologist at the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals, part of Guy’s andSt Thomas’ National Health Service Foundation Trust.

The cardiologist noted that they first tried medical treatment,strengthening his antianginal therapy.

“When Nawaz’s symptoms worsened, another angioplasty was conducted inNovember 2022 which targeted an occluded left circumflexed artery,” thedoctor said in report.

It added that the elder Sharif still has some residual anginal symptoms andsuggested continuous monitoring.

The former premier is embattled in various cases, including the NationalAccountability Bureau’s (NAB) Avenfield, Al-Azizia and Hill Metal and theFlagship references, had left for London in Dec 2019 on medical groundsafter the Lahore High Court had granted him permission to travel abroad forfour weeks.

As per sources, the former premier will return to Pakistan on October 21via a connecting flight. Elder Sharif will land at Abu Dhabi InternationalAirport from London on October 21 and on the same day, he will leave forLahore.
