The price of gold witnessed a sudden increase after a continuous decrease.According to market dealers, the price of gold per tola has risen to 2,400rupees, surpassing 1,88,400 rupees per tola and reaching 1,90,400 rupeesper tola.
Meanwhile, 10 grams of gold are now priced at 2,837 rupees, totaling1,63,237 rupees. On the other hand, in the international market, goldsurged to $1,811 per ounce with a $3 decrease.
Dealers in the currency market attribute this increase in demand to theaffordability of gold in the local market due to the decline in prices.
