In Pakistan, the price of gold has decreased by 100 rupees. Authoritiesenforcing the law have initiated a crackdown against illegal activities inthe local gold market. Although the All Pakistan Sarafa James and JewelersAssociation has not released gold rates since September 12, according to anExpress report, the current price of gold is 188,000 rupees, while theprice for 10 grams is 160,400 rupees.
The last time prices were announced, 24-carat gold was priced at 215,000rupees. Since the start of the crackdown, there has been a decrease in theprice of gold. It’s worth mentioning that gold prices were at their highesthistorical levels.
At the beginning of September, the price of gold was 240,000 per tola. HajiHaroon Rashid, the President of the All Pakistan Sarafa James and JewelersAssociation, has stated that the Association will once again announce ratesfrom October 9th.
