According to the IHC, such issues are dragged unnecessarily in the courts. The court further observed that for such issues, there was an alternateforum for the redressal. It added that the court was not satisfied with thecomplaints. The verdict read,

“The constitutional jurisdiction of a high court in matters involvingpolitical content”, especially in cases where the law provides “alternativeremedies”

The petitioner had expressed that by Nawaz’s speech the country’s securitywas being “threatened”. However, the court had dismissed the argument andsaid, the security of Pakistan is not frail nor can be threatened by merepolitical rhetoric.” IHC believed the petitioner’s concern regardingPakistan’s security was “misconceived”.
