A report by BBC reveals that Dalit women in India are among the mostoppressed women in the world.
The report notes that ten Dalit women used to be raped in India everydayand there is no decline in number yet.
It finds that the state and institutions in India try to downplay the casesof rape by refusal to register their case, tardy investigation and evendoubting the very incident.
