ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay an official visit to Chinafrom tomorrow (Monday) to discuss issues of regional and bilateralsignificance with Chinese leadership.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will hold separate meetings withChinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang. Prime Minister ImranKhan will also discuss expansion of projects under the China-PakistanEconomic Corridor framework besides cooperation in agriculture, industrialand socio-economic sectors.
He is also likely to address China Pakistan Business Forum in Beijing tofurther promote economic and trade exchanges between the two countries. ThePrime Minister will also meet with Chinese entrepreneurs and heads ofdifferent companies during the visit.
The two sides will discuss immediate implementation of Phase-II ofChina-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement, signed between the two strategiccooperative partners to further enhance bilateral business and trade.

They will also examine the abolition of quota for all Pakistani agroproducts like rice, wheat, corn, soybean, sugar and tobacco as Pakistanwill prove to be a food basket for China. It will be the third visit ofPrime Minister Imran Khan to China within a year.
