*Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has filed an application in theIslamabad High Court to make five people involved in the video scandal aswitnesses.*
He appealed to court to record the statements of the witnesses either incourt or through the Pakistan High Commission. “The statement of Nasir Buttshould be recorded,” he said.
Nawaz Sharif also appealed to court to record the statement of the Britishforensic expert. He also requested the court to summon the forensic expertof mobile phones. “The statements of the witnesses are mandatory forjustice,” he said.

He said that independent and fair trial is his basic right. “The judge hasconfessed to his crime. The Supreme Court has also questioned the fairtrial,” he contended.
