QUETTA – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javaid Bajwa has briefed PMImran Khan over the security situation in Balochistan.
Earlier Prime Minister Imran Khan along with Chief Minister Balochistan JamKamal Khan and lead federal ministers on Saturday visited Southern Commandheadquarters at Quetta.
Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa received the PM at Quetta airbase. A detailed briefing on security situation of the province, challengesand response was given.
The prime minister was also briefed about socio-economic development basedKhushal Balochistan program, security of China Pakistan Economic Projects(CPEC) projects, and progress of fencing along Pak-Afghan border.

Gen Bajwa said that having achieved stability in troubled areas of KhyberPakthunkhwa, the focus has been on Balochistan which is economic future ofPakistan.
