Pakistan to produce fifth generation Fighter Jet: PAF Chief

KARACHI – Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman has said that Pakistan has started working on the fifth generation fighter jet after successful launch of the JF – 17 Thunder Jet.

The project is likely launched in collaboration with the China and sources reveal that the work in this direction has already been launched in the PAF Aeronautical Complex Kamra under the project Azm.

He further said that security forces have successfully eliminated terrorists from the country.

Addressing a function at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar, he said the enemy is using terrorists as tool to keep the Pakistani nation backward but it will never succeed in its evil designs.

The Air Chief said after the production of JF-17 Thunder, we now intend to produce the fifth generation fighter plane.

He also highlighted the role of PAF in the promotion of education in the country.

Vice Chancellor of the university Dr. Razia Sultana in her speech highlighted activities of university.She also gave away a shield to the Air Chief.
