The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) recently made a significant move byapprehending over two dozen individuals attempting an illicit bordercrossing into Iran from the Jiuni region in Gwadar district. FIA sourcesdisclosed that these detainees hailed from various parts of Punjab and werein the midst of planning a journey to Europe via Turkey, following theirarrival in Iran.
This incident marks the second occurrence within a span of two days, asmore than twenty individuals had been captured by FIA authorities in thesame locality on the previous Monday. The sources further indicate thatthese attempts at illegal immigration have experienced a resurgence inGwadar, following a period of relative calm prompted by recent attacks inthe Makran division of Balochistan.
