ISLAMABAD – Indian hotels start to mock Kashmiris even with food as peoplestruggle with food shortages in the valley.

At a time when the curfew-hit Indian-occupied Kashmir (IOK) is strugglingfrom a terrible food shortage, a restaurant in India is offering a discounton a platter if the customer is from the disputed valley in order to mockand humiliate the people of Kashmir

The New Delhi restaurant is offering INR 370 discount on ‘Article 370platter’ if a customer has a government ID from Jammu and Kashmir, said *IndiaToday*link.

The restaurant also claims to have veg and non-veg food options in theplatter from the Himalayan region.

The disputed valley has been under lockdown since August 5 when Indiasnatched IOK’s special status through a rushed resolution.

To dampen the possibility of widespread protests, India flooded Kashmirwith troops, imposed severe movement restrictions, and snapped alltelephone, mobile phone and internet connections.
