ISLAMABAD – Pakistan gets a good news from the government of Canada afterthe enhanced security situation in the country.

The Government of Canada on Thursday removed Islamabad from the list of“avoid non-essential travel” cities.

The Global Affairs Department has revised the travel advisory for Pakistanby observing that there is decrease in risk level for Canadians to travelto Islamabad, says a press release received to Press informationDepartment, from Ottawa, Canada.

The High Commission of Pakistan had impressed upon the Canadian authoritiesto revise the advisory for Pakistan as the security situation in the wholecountry has improved significantly.

In the first step towards that direction, the Canadian government hasinformed about excluding Islamabad from that category and further stepswill be taken in the light of evolving security situation.
