Military leadership says Pakistan is fully prepared to target Indianmilitary assets anywhere in response to aggression
In a strong and clear warning to New Delhi, Pakistan has signaled itsintent to respond with greater force and depth in case of any futureaggression by India. A senior Pakistani military official stated that ifIndia attempts another attack similar to previous operations, Pakistan’sresponse will be “even deeper” and far more decisive.
The statement comes amid heightened tensions in the region and followsrecent media reports suggesting possible Indian military plans targetingPakistani territory.
“India must understand that we have the capability and the resolve tostrike back — and not just at the point of attack. We can and will targetthem anywhere,” the official warned, reinforcing Pakistan’s strategicreadiness.
The Pakistani military leadership has long maintained that it does not seekconflict, but any violation of its sovereignty will be met with aproportionate — or stronger — response. Analysts say the statement is adirect message to deter any misadventure, especially as the regioncontinues to experience periodic flare-ups along the Line of Control (LoC).
This warning also aligns with Pakistan’s recent moves to bolster itsdefense capabilities, including advancements in air and missile technology, and deeper coordination with strategic allies.
Regional observers note that both India and Pakistan, being nuclear powers, must exercise restraint and prioritize diplomacy. However, Pakistan’slatest statement makes it clear that any act of aggression will not gounanswered.
