PESHAWAR – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday summonedNational Assembly former speaker Asad Qaisar in the prohibited funding case.
He has been directed to appear before the FIA Office, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at2pm on August 11. A five-team of the FIA will hold an investigation underthe Political Parties Act 2002. The FIA zonal committee will collect thedetails of the PTI assets.
Meanwhile, NA former speaker Asad Qaisar has denied receiving the FIAnotice. He said that the PTI had conducted the funding in a legal way.
