ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Hindu Community makes a unique gift for the nation onthe occasion of Independence day celebrations.
Pakistan’s Hindu community on Monday decorated the National Assembly hallwith a 40 feet large national flag with over 60,000 balloons to mark thecountry’s independence day celebrations.
Students from different educational institutions across Pakistan are alsoinvited to visit the Parliament House on Independence day, August 14.
Installed on one side of the main entrance, the 40-feet flag covers thewhole area from floor to ceiling of the assembly hall.
Pakistan Hindu Council (PHC) chairman and member of the National Assembly ,Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani is confident that the effort of around three dozenvolunteers belonging to the Hindu community would make it to the GuinnessBook of World Records.
