*Dawn* Assistant Editor Cyril Almeida on Wednesday received theInternational Press Institute’s (IPI) 71st World Press Freedom Hero awardin Geneva, Switzerland.

Almeida was honoured in a special ceremony during the annual World Congressand General Assembly of IPI — a global network of editors, media executivesand leading journalists in over 100 countries.
