US dollar hits another historic high against Pakistani Rupee

*KARACHI: Amid mounting political tensions, the Pakistani rupee plunged toan all-time low against the US dollar in the interbank market. *

According to forex dealers, the US dollar on Wednesday reached an all-timehigh against the rupee, soaring to Rs186.06 in the interbank market duringintraday trading.

The domestic currency also lost ground in the open market and currentlytrading at over 186 against the greenback.
