Pakistan says India’s violations of UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutionson Kashmir posed a threat to regional and international peace, and urgedthe world community to call out its willful defiance of internationallegality.
Pakistan envoy to UN Munir Akram in an address to the UN DisarmamentCommission drew attention to India’s “accidental” launching of a supersonicmissile into Pakistan saying it reveals serious gaps in its ability tomanage their strategic assets.
He said if this was a deliberate provocation, it was highly dangerous actadding that Pakistan’s self-restraint prevented the outbreak of a nuclearconflict between the two countries.

Akram said Pakistan had conveyed a series of questions to India through theUN Security Council and the Secretary-General and is still awaiting NewDelhi’s response hoping it would provide answers to the questions in theDisarmament Commission.
