Organised campaign launched against former NA speaker Asad Qaiser to make his order controversial

The reason why National Assembly (NA) Speakerlink Asad Qaiserlink did not preside over theassembly’s session on April 3 on which voting on the opposition’s no-trustmotion was to take place was that he was not in the favourlink of speaker’s rulinglink under Article 5 of the Constitution.

Quoting its sources, the channel reported that Asad had even conveyed hisconcerns to the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) high command.

They further disclosed that although the legal team of Prime Minister ImranKhan tried to convince him, but he did not feel convinced and stuck to hispoint.

And the reason why he did not make his differences with the rulinglink party’s leadership on the issue publicwas because he thought that the matter was sub judice, and it would bebetter not to comment on it.
