Pakistan Muslim League (N) President Shehbaz Sharif Wednesday rejected thename of Justice (retd) Gulzar Ahmad for the caretaker prime minister slot.
Replying to a letter sent by President of Pakistan Arif Alvi for theproposed name of the caretaker PM, Shebaz said the issue of dissolving theassemblies was still in the courts and the President has no right toinitiate the process of appointing a caretaker government.
Shehbaz wrote that he received the letter written by President on April 5night and said that the proposal given by Imran Khan for Justice (retd)Gulzar as caretaker PM was illegal.

He reiterated in his response that the summary to dissolve the nationalassembly is illegal.
