Islamabad: The Supreme Court today adjourned the hearing into the suo-motucase about the dismissal of a no-confidence motion against Prime MinisterImran Khan in the National Assembly till tomorrow (Thursday).
A five-member larger bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice ofPakistan Umar Ata Bandial heard the case.

Hearing the suo-motu notice of the situation arising after the dismissal ofthe no-confidence motion by National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri onWednesday, Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial said that the no-confidencemotion is a constitutional process. “The court will announce the verdictaccording to the law and constitution, not on the basis of loyalties.”
The CJP remarked that the case pertains to the violation of Article 95.”The court can intervene where there is a violation of the constitution.”
On the other hand, the court adjourned the case till 9:30 am on Thursday.
