*PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Shaukat Yousafzai onSaturday said false propaganda was being spread about buses of the busrapid transit (BRT) system Peshawar on social media.*
In a statement, Shaukat Yousafzai said BRT Peshawar buses werestate-of-the-art in every aspect. Doors have been installed on both of itssides, he added.
“False and baseless propaganda is being spread on social media regardingthe buses. The buses would be run on feeder routes of Bara Road, Kohat Roadand Charsadda Road apart from BRT system routes,” he said.
He said because of overcrowding on feeder routes, doors of left sides wouldbe used only as traffic was run on left side. While, he said, right sidedoors will be used on BRT system routes as platforms were on the right side.

On March 23, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan had directedthe inspection team for inquiry into delay in construction of the BRTPeshawar project.
In a statement earlier, Mahmood Khan had said that soft opening for theproject would be held on March 23, which could not materialise. He hadwarned that next course of action would be taken in case of delay.
