*ISLAMABAD – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has adjourned the bail plea offormer prime minister Nawaz Sharif on medical grounds till February 12.*
Khawaja Haris, counsel for Nawaz Sharif, appealed to the court to fix thecase tomorrow as it is a medical issue.
The court sought a reply from the NAB and adjourned the case till Tuesday.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin AkhtarKayani heard the plea. Nawaz Sharif’s counsel Khawaja Haris told court thatthe Sharif family is concerned about his health.
Justice Amir Farooq questioned whether Nawaz Sharif is not getting healthfacilities. “Has a new medical board to be constituted?” he questioned.Khawaja Haris said that medical test reports had not been given to them andcourt should summon the reports.
A team comprising of cardiologists had examined Nawaz Sharif in Kot Lakhpatjail.
