9 Indian Army soldiers killed at LoC, confirms General Bipin Rawat

NEW DELHI – Indian Army Chief Bipin Rawat has on Tuesday admitted thatnine Indian soldiers were killed in recent clash with the Pakistan Armyalong the Line of Control (LoC).

According to Indian media reports, Bipin Rawat said that the Pak Army isalso “suffering more casualties on borders”.

He further said that these long and bloody tit-for-tat fire assaults acrossthe border, with even light artillery guns, heavy mortars and anti-tankguided missiles often coming into play from both the sides, are not goingto ebb anytime soon.

According to Indian newspapers Times of India, the deadly war of attritionbetween India and Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) and WorkingBoundary has taken a sharp turn for the worse ever since the so called“surgical strikes” of September, 2016.
