Former Pakistan captain, Shahid Afridi, has expressed disappointment on thenational cricket team’s performances in the recently-concluded Test seriesagainst New Zealand.
Taking to Twitter, the all-rounder advised the national side to use talentand courage to survive in Test cricket. He also congratulated the NewZealand cricket team for topping the Test teams ranking for the first timein history.
Congratulations to NZ for becoming the #1 Test team, a great performance by@KanyWilliamson & team. Really disappointing to see the performance in the2nd Test after a good fight in the 1st Test. The players need to applytalent & courage to survive in Test cricket. The results in NZ are verypoor.

Meanwhile, there are reports that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) hasreportedly decided to sack head coach Misbah-ul-Haq. As per sources, PCBCricket Committee has already begun the search for a replacement.
Misbah had long been held responsible for the team’s deterioratingperformances in all three formats. However, embarrassing defeats in NewZealand may have forced PCB to revert to a foreign coach.
