LAHORE – Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar paid a surprise visit toSheikhupura city on Sunday and exhibited dissatisfaction over poorcleanliness arrangements there.He said garbage should be dumped properly and poor should not be botheredin the ongoing operation against encroachment.He directed to continue operations against big wigs across the board.Traffic system of the city was needed to be improved, he said and directedto devise a comprehensive plan for traffic management.Taking quick action of the vulnerable condition of cleanliness, he orderedto suspend Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Tariq Zia.He said pitiable situation of cleanliness in Sheikhupura City during thevisit was very disappointing and it depicted poor performance of thecorporation.The CM said the officer who failed to meet his responsibility did notdeserve to stay at his post.
