Afghanistan goldmine collapse kills at least 30 people

KABUL – At least 30 people were killed when a gold mine collapsed innortheastern Afghanistan on Sunday, officials said, in the latest tragedyto strike the war-torn country.

Another seven were wounded in the incident in Kohistan district ofBadakhshan province, district governor Mohammad Rustam Raghi told AFP. -APP/AFP
