ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan has supposedly secretly tied the knot with a woman heused to visit for spiritual guidance, according to a report published inleading English daily, The Newslink>.

The PTI chairman welcomed 2018 by marrying the woman on the night ofJanuary 1 in Lahore and came straight from there the next day to appearbefore the anti-terrorism court in Islamabad that granted him bail.

Mufti Saeed, a member of PTI core committee, read the nikkah of the couple.Saeed was also the nikkah khawan when Imran publicly entered into marriagewith Reham Khan on January 8, 2015.

While, Awn Chaudhry and Naeem-ul-Haq have denied the reports of thismarriage, the Mufti was reluctant to either confirm or refute this theory.

The political secretary of the PTI chief, Awn, is believed to have attendedthe ceremony, something he out rightly denied and also dismissed the notionthat the nikkah took place. Awn was also a witness in Khan’s previousmarriage to Reham Khan.

Similarly, spokesman for the party head, Naeem-ul-Haq also dismissed this,adding that if Khan was to marry, he would do so after the generalelections.

However, Mufti Saeed was hesitant to issue any denial. When he was firstapproached on Thursday night Saeed remarked, “I will not say anything onthis matter. Please accept my apology,” he said repeating the same line hedid when approached after Imran’s marriage with Reham.

It is learnt that Khan’s new bride was previously married to a governmentservant with whom she seperated a few months back. While, her formerhusband confirmed the separation, he denied the rumours of this marriage.

Imran supposedly developed a relationship with the women when he went toher for spiritual guidance a couple of years ago. This would be the thirdmarriage of Imran Khan; he first married Jemima Khan on May 16, 1995, amarriage that lasted nine years. His second marriage was with Reham Khan,then a TV anchor, which lasted only 10 months.
