LAHORE – Chief Justice Saqib Nisar, while hearing the suo motu notice onthe state of public hospitals in Punjab, warned that he will close allprojects, including Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT), if health and educationsectors are not improved.

A two-member bench, headed by the chief justice and comprising JusticeEjazul Ahsan, is hearing matters of public welfare at the apex court’sLahore registry.

The CJP also ordered the government to submit the report after having auditof the hospitals.

He also took notice of Punjab government’s doling out ads, seeking therecord of expenditures incurred on the advertisement campaign within 10days.
