QUETTA: Armed men attacked an FC convoy in the Murghab area of Panjgur district. Subsequently, three soldiers were martyred while three others got injured. The injured were shifted to a hospital in Panjgur for medical treatment.
The attack was condemned by Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. In a statement, he expressed profound grief over the loss of precious lives and has directed that best medical assistance is provided to the injured.
The attack was also condemned by Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal. “We will not rest until the miscreants are defeated,” he said, adding that the enemies wanted to hamper work being done under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
About the attack, Balochistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti said the action of security forces has hindered the designs of terrorists.
