Pakistan cricket team's director, Mickey Arthur, has stated that Pakistani players are quite experienced, having played a lot of cricket over the past four years.
Speaking at a press conference at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad, he mentioned that he is ready for the final eleven against the Netherlands in the upcoming World Cup. He added that form fluctuates, but there is no doubt about the quality of these players.
He hopes that the players will return to form starting from tomorrow, and they are just one match away from finding their form. Mickey Arthur further stated that Pakistan's batting doesn't revolve solely around Babar Azam and Rizwan. They have many talented batsmen, including Imam-ul-Haq, Saud Shakeel, and Fakhar Zaman.
Regarding criticism directed at Shadab Khan, the director of the Pakistan cricket team said he isn't worried and believes that Shdab will return to form soon. Following this he stated that Shadab Khan is one of the beat all rounders in world cricket.
He acknowledged the pressure that always surrounds the Pakistan-India match, stating that the Indian team is strong, but Pakistan is also prepared. He hopes Pakistan can win two matches before their highly anticipated clash with India.
In response to a question, Mickey Arthur mentioned that Pakistan-Bharat (Pakistan-India) matches cannot be discussed in political terms. Players from both sides respect each other, and Indian fans are warmly welcoming Pakistani players. He noted how Indian fans are welcoming Babar, Rizwan, and Shaheen with open arms.
