In a recent session of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), a proposal was put forth for a residential project exclusively catering to overseas Pakistanis in the Mauza Kuri area. This meeting, chaired by Captain (r) Anwar ul Haque, the Chairman of CDA, discussed various aspects of the proposed scheme.
According to an official statement provided to APP, the planned residential scheme is intended to encompass approximately 14,000 kanals of land adjacent to Kuri Road, situated next to Park Road. Overseas Pakistanis will be required to make payments for these plots in US dollars once they are officially advertised, contributing to the country's foreign currency reserves.
During the meeting, it was also decided that a design consultant would be appointed to oversee the scheme's implementation. This consultant's responsibilities will include conducting vital assessments such as environmental impact, traffic management, and hydrology.
Furthermore, they will be tasked with creating the infrastructure and road development designs.
