Lahore High Court judges takes oath

LAHORE: (APP) Newly-confirmed four judges of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday took oath of their office at LHC Bahawalpur Bench.

According to a LHC press release issued here, LHC Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah administered oath to Justice Khalid Mahmood Malik, Justice Chaudhry Mushtaq Ahmad, Justice Masood Abid Naqvi and Justice Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal in a ceremony held at lawns of the Bahawalpur bench. Registrar LHC Syed Khurshid Anwar Rizvi conducted the proceedings.

NAB stopped by LHC from proceeding against former DIG

LHC judges, federal & provincial law officers, senior lawyers, officers of LHC and families of newly confirmed judges attended the ceremony.

Later, the chief justice along with judges visited the LHC Bahawalpur bench and inaugurated newly renovated Justice Muhammad Akbar Library Hall of the bar.
