Prominent chef, cooking expert Zubaida Aapa dies

Prominent chef and cooking expert, Zubaida Aapa Tariq passed away in Karachi, after a protracted illness. She was 72 years old.
She was the sister of famous writers Anwar Maqsood and late Fatima Surayya Bajia.
Her funeral prayer will be offered at Sultan Mosque in Defence area of Karachi after Jumma prayer.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of prominent chef Zubaida Aapa who passed away in Karachi last night.
In a message, she said Zubaida Aapa promoted the traditional cookeries and expert household.
The Minister of State said Zubaida Apa's unique cooking shows were very popular.
